Psychologist / Rehabilitation Counsellor

We are seeking passionate and drivenPsychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellorsto join ourteam across Metro Sydney in our Alexandria, Macquarie Park, Parramatta or Penrith offices.

You will be managing a caseload of psychological injuries from a return to work perspective, facilitating upgrades in people's capacity and helping them get back to work; meeting with doctors and allied health professionals, providing a high quality service to injured workers and insurers.

The role is fast paced, incredibly team-oriented and rewarding and enables you to:

- Assist with an injured person’s recovery, return to work and life following injury or illness
- Conduct a range of assessment and case management services across various customer portfolios
- Delivering counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
- Support people to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge; &
- Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.

About You:

- Rehabilitation Counsellor (with Full or Associate ASORC membership)
- Psychologist (with full AHPRA membership)

You'll also need:

- Long term interest in working in Occupational Rehabilitation
- Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check
- Sound communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
