This role will be based in Kununurra, managing multiple teams of care staff.
n
Ideally you will have had experience providing direct care and have stepped up into a Supervisory or Leadership role looking for a new challenge. You have experience in providing exceptional care to People with Disability and experience supporting people with complex and diverse needssuch as:
n
n
- Complex Mental Health needs (Psychosocial Disability, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Schizophrenia).
n
- Health related support needs such as Diabetes, Wound Care and Asthma.
n
- Behaviours of Concern.
n
- Restrictive Practices
n
n
On Call: You will be part of an afterhours on-call roster.
n

Key Responsibilities
n

- Lead,
Mentor and Manage your Support teams in line with the ISA values and behaviours.
n
- Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with program budgets and Business Plans.
n
- Deliver programs which are compliant with legislation, trauma informed practice, contractual requirements and internal policy and procedure.
n
- Managing competing priorities while maintaining calm, effective leadership.
n
- Model a flexible and creative approach that is person centered, enabling and supporting choice and control with the balance of business and operational need.
n
- Model appropriate conflict resolution, communication and positive behaviour management skills.
n
- Oversee a caseload and Support team.
n
n
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
n
n
- A qualification in Human Services or similar - noting applicants with considerable sector experience will be considered.
n
- Experience in residential care, youth work, disability, mental health, or community services.
n
- Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
n
- Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
n
- Demonstrated ability to support productive working relationships and manage staff.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies.
n
n
Successful candidates will be required to transparent probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
