Sonoma Bakery Full Time - Sunday to Thursday 5:00pm to 1:00am

About the role

This is a full-time position, working five afternoon/night shifts per week from Sunday to Thursday, approximately 5:00pm to 1:00am. Reporting to the Senior Sous Chef – PM Operations, Head Pastry Chef and Executive Pastry Chef, you'll primarily be responsible for overseeing baking shifts, while also supporting broader pastry production.

Key responsibilities

- Maintaining the quality and consistency of baked products




- Working to tight production deadlines
- Ensuring the smooth running of a fast-paced pastry operation
- Working closely with the NPD Chef to support the training of staff and the rollout of new products and procedures

About you

- At least 3 years' experience in a similar Pastry Chef or leadership role
- Strong pastry and professional baking experience
- Previous team leading experience
- A sharp eye for detail and a genuine commitment to product quality and consistency
- The ability to stay calm, organised, and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Solid communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with the wider Pastry and Production teams
- Experience supporting the training and development of team members
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
