About the Agency

The Australian Digital Health Agency leads the national effort to digitally enable Australia’s health system. We support the delivery of person-centred, connected healthcare through the development and adoption of digital health services and systems. Our work includes managing My Health Record, Electronic prescriptions, and the 1800MEDICARE app, ensuring a healthier future for all Australians through connected healthcare.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Partnerships and Education Branch as Director Education. In this influential role, you will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of nationally consistent education and training programs that support the adoption and meaningful use of digital health products and services across Australia's healthcare system.

As Director Education, you will work across government, healthcare, academia and industry to build digital health capability, develop cutting-edge learning solutions and drive organisational change that improves health outcomes for Australians.

Responsibilities will include:

- Leading the development and continuous improvement of national digital health education and training programs.
- Providing strategic advice on education,



training and workforce capability initiatives.
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with healthcare providers, consumers, professional bodies, universities and government stakeholders.
- Overseeing the design and evaluation of educational resources and learning programs.
- Leading a high-performing team and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Managing reporting, budgets, contracts, procurement activities and program risks to achieve strategic outcomes.

What you will need

To be successful in this opportunity, you are a collaborative and forward-thinking leader with experience delivering large-scale education, training or capability-building programs. You will bring:

- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience building partnerships and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Relevant qualifications in education, health, public health, learning and development, healthcare management or a related field, or equivalent experience.

The position may be filled in Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra

Salary: $148,641 - $175,981 plus 15.4% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
