We are currently seeking a Casual HVAC Hygiene Technician to join our team, working across commercial and industrial sites throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. This role offers regular work with the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right person.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving the cleaning, inspection, and remediation of HVAC ductwork and associated systems. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to deliver high-quality hygiene outcomes while maintaining strict safety standards.
Key Duties
- Cleaning and remediation of HVAC ductwork and systems
- Assisting with HVAC hygiene inspections and reporting
- Operation of specialised cleaning equipment (training provided)
- Working in ceiling spaces, plant rooms, and confined spaces
- Working safely at heights where required
- Following WHS policies and site-specific safety requirements
- Completing basic job documentation and records
About You
- Construction White Card – essential
- Experience in HVAC trades, HVAC hygiene, duct cleaning, or building services – advantageous but not essential
- IICRC accreditation – highly regarded but not required
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
