Workfast is currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join the team at Duratec for a major project in Mt Isa.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Trade Assistants to secure project/DIDO work, supporting trades across a range of site-based duties. Candidates will need strong hands‑on experience, a good understanding of site safety and the ability to work long shifts in a remote environment.

We are looking for candidates with:

- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in civil construction, mining or industrial environments
- Strong hands‑on site experience supporting trades
- Experience with general labouring, site preparation and material handling
- Valuable safety awareness and a strong work ethic




- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and commit to a 13-day fortnight
- Willingness to travel and work away from home
- Ability to commit to approximately 70 days working away

- Location: Mt Isa, QLD
- Start: Immediate
- Rate: $38.50 per hour
- Roster: 13-day fortnights
- Shifts: 12 hours
- Project: Approx. 70 days
