Join Ampcontrol's Applications Division, based at our Ringwood production facility, where we design and manufacture market-leading technology for mining and industrial applications, including monitoring and control, communications, lighting, power quality and environmental monitoring.

We're looking for an Electrical Assembler / Trade Assistant to join our production team. This is a hands-on role supporting the assembly, testing and overhaul of electrical products used across mining and industrial applications.

You'll work alongside experienced team members, following established processes and developing your skills in electrical assembly and manufacturing.

What You'll Do

- Assist with the assembly of electrical products.
- Inspect, clean, repair and overhaul electrical products as required.
- Follow work instructions and complete basic production paperwork.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with quality checks and ensure work meets required standards.
- Keep the workshop clean, tidy and organised.
- Follow all safety, quality and environmental procedures.
- Support prototype builds and other production activities as required.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Ideally has some experience in electrical assembly, manufacturing,



trade assistance or a similar hands-on environment
- Reliable, motivated and willing to learn.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- A good team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate at a technical level in English, both written and verbal
- An electrical or electronics background is advantageous but not essential.
