We're looking for a Registered Surveyor to join Amey's growing team in Wagga Wagga. This is an opportunity for an experienced surveyor who enjoys balancing technical expertise with project management, client engagement and team leadership.

About the role

As a Registered Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of surveying projects from planning through to completion. You'll lead and coordinate project activities, manage budgets and schedules, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and ensure all work is delivered to a high professional and technical standard.

Your work will include cadastral, engineering and control surveys, reviewing and certifying survey plans and reports, managing project resources, and identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and grow the business. You'll also provide guidance and mentoring to survey team members while contributing to broader planning and engineering projects where required.

What we're looking for

- Current registration as a Registered Surveyor in Australia
- Degree qualification in Surveying or a related discipline
- Experience managing surveying projects, including budgets, schedules and client relationships
- Strong understanding of surveying legislation, standards and industry best practice
- Demonstrated leadership capability and a genuine interest in supporting the growth of others
- Experience using contemporary surveying equipment, GNSS technology and industry software
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across clients, councils, contractors and project teams.
