Would you enjoy partnering with our Executive Directors and Commercial Directors to provide accurate and timely processing of management reports, enabling better business decisions.
The Property Council of Australia is looking for an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance qualified who enjoys variety, thrives on building relationships, and takes pride in diagnosing and solving problems. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with IT and the business on a variety of projects to enable further innovation and process improvements.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll provide high-quality and accurate management reports.
- Commercial partnering - drive optimal performance and spend effectively by proactively assisting commercial partners
- Training commercial partners on financial matters, systems and policies
- Financial reporting - on time and accurate management accounting and analysis
- Budgets and forecasts - assist the Executive Directors to update their rolling forecasts and prepare budgets
- Optimisation of finance systems - contribute to finance system implementation
What you'll bring:
- Active questioning and listening skills
- 3 - 4 years' experience in a commercial or NFP environment
- Exposure to management reporting functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in resolution f issues arising from balance sheet reconciliations
- Excellent reporting and financial modelling tools knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics GP, Excel, knowledge of Solver would be an advantage)
