In this crucial role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining combustion systems and equipment to support the company's growing industrial operations. Elevate your career to the next level with inhouse training and gain further qualifications.
What you'll be doing
Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on electrical installations, combustion equipment, at customers premises. This involves being able to problem solve and diagnose faults with equipment, specialising in combustion process systems, industrial water heaters and steam boilers.
Gain experience in Troubleshooting & diagnose faults, reading wiring schematics and P&ID; diagrams related to AS codes and standards.
Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards and safety regulations.
Assist with the planning and installation of recent equipment and systems.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all electrical work performed, using laptop to create reports and use of service software to record work undertaken.
Collaborate with the wider service and Project Team to optimise plant and equipment performance.
Ensure that all customers on site procedures and policies are followed to deliver exceptional customer service.
Foster relationships with both internal personnel and external customers.
What we're looking for
Positive attitude and yearning to learn and know more.
Qualified electrician with a current Australian Electrician's License.
Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
A minimum of 1-3 years of industrial electrical experience is required, instrumentation experience an advantage.
Leading commissioning and project works preferred but not essential.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Availability for On Call work, on a roster basis for additional remuneration.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics and technical manuals
Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
Australian work rights and valid drivers license are required for this position.
