About the position

Our client is looking for an experienced Property Lawyer ready to step into a Special Counsel role within their Brisbane office.



This is a unique opportunity to lead a diverse mix of high-value property matters while working alongside a strategic CEO and helping drive national growth.

You'll be responsible for leading files across commercial and residential transactions, leasing, property development, and dispute resolution. The role includes business development, team leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior lawyers as you build and manage your own team.

You'll have autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a firm that values initiative, performance, and long-term career development.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 10 years PAE in Property Law within private practice
- Proven experience in managing complex property transactions and disputes
- Strong business development skills with a history of building client relationships
- Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire junior lawyers
- Demonstrated success meeting targets and driving team performance
- Accredited Specialist in Property Law (desirable but not essential)
- Commercial mindset and a proactive work ethic
