Ashton’s Place Limited is a charitable foundation that supports autistic children aged between 3 and 6 years old. The Autism Connect Early (ACE) Programme operates across five early childhood centres, providing early childhood support for children and their families.
The programme aims to promote skill development and meaningful participation within the early childhood setting through naturalistic, relationship-based supports. We aim to meet children where they are at; understand the reasons behind behaviour; provide individualised regulation and communication supports; build social connection and relationships; and support children to achieve their individualised goals.
We are looking for Qualified Educators for Casual positions across our centres!
About the role
- Assisting in leading a classroom by fostering meaningful connections with educators, families, children, and the wider community to deliver a tailored educational program that meets the unique needs of each child.
- Showcasing your sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Upholding the highest standards of compliance with Government Regulations and centre policies, ensuring our commitment to quality remains unwavering.
- Building valuable networks with local stakeholders to enrich the community experience.
- Cultivating strong relationships and partnerships with both children and families.
- Contributing to the documentation of children's skills and interests, employing a continuous cycle of reflective practice.
A little about you
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA.
- Experience in an early childhood setting.
- Current Blue card, approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
