My client is a large, growing and highly reputable company that is leading in their field. Based in Sydney CBD, the Finance Director is looking to hire a Senior Finance Analyst to join the commercial finance team. The role will play a vital role in delivering sales analysis, reporting, and data insights that support business decision-making. The role requires a proactive partner who can automate processes, develop financial models, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of all Sales related reporting, data analysis and board packs
- Assist the Head of FP&A; with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Lead month end tasks on commentary reporting and reviews.
- Develop internal business reports, templates and specifications
- Provide financial and data analysis to optimise and improve the efficiency of data collection




- Lead the development of financial assumptions and calculations based on business initiatives.
- Provide support to the Commercial Finance team and other stakeholders within the business

Required Experience

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Finance, Commerce or Economics
- CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualified or studying towards
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role / FP&A; workplace (budget / forecast modelling and reporting) mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating data accurately.

This is a permanent, full-time office-based role in Sydney CBD.
