THE ROLE

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of a busy, high-volume venue.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, inspiring and rostering a team to deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Overseeing front-of-house and bar operations during shifts
- Managing stock control, cash handling and cost management
- Ensuring full compliance with RSA, RCG and WHS requirements
- Building genuine relationships with regulars and the local community




- Supporting training and development to help grow a high-performing team
- Stepping up to manage the venue in the absence of senior leadership
- Helping drive a positive, values-led culture across the team

What you will bring:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role within hospitality or licensed venues
- Current RSA and RCG certifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team
- A hands-on, community-first approach to service and guest experience
- Confidence managing rosters, stock, and day-to-day venue operations
- Excellent communication skills and a calm head under pressure
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
