We are currently seeking experienced Finishing Labourers to join our team at Surfers Paradise high-rise residential apartments construction project.
We are looking for practical, reliable and hardworking people who have a strong background in painting, patching, repairs and general construction maintenance and take pride in delivering a high-quality finish.
About the Role
As a Finishing Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with the final stages of construction works, including:
- Painting and touch-up works
- Patching walls, ceilings and other surfaces
- General repairs
- Plasterboard and minor finishing works
- Preparing surfaces for painting and finishing
- Silicone and sealant works
- General defect rectification
- Cleaning and preparing areas for handover
- Assisting trades and site teams as required
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised work area
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a finishing, maintenance or construction labouring role
- Practical experience with painting and patching
- Experience completing defects, touch-ups and general repairs
- Good understanding of construction sites and site safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Valuable communication skills
- White Card
- Relevant tickets/licences will be highly regarded
