We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Officer supporting operations in the live bay area forturkeys. This role is critical in ensuring animal welfare standards, product quality, and compliance with food safety regulations throughout all stages of production.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and assess live bird handling practices
- Identify and report any non-conformance issues in handling, hygiene, or processing
- Perform routine documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of QC checks
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety
- Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills

- Previous experience in quality control, food production, or poultry processing preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork ability
- Willingness to work around live animals and in slaughter environments





Other Requirements

- Abilityto keep up with production demands and work effectively as part of a team
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and carrying out repetitive tasks
- Available to work early morning shifts - 4:00 am start
- Holds a current driver's licence and has reliable transportation
- Active working rights in Australia (legally entitled to work)
