About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join a structural strengthening project in the Sydney CBD.

The works are being carried out within a manhole, with the concrete breakout already completed. You will be responsible for welding steel reinforcement (reo) using a MIG welder as part of the structural strengthening works.

Key Responsibilities

- MIG welding steel reinforcement and structural steel




- Welding steel reo as part of structural strengthening works
- Working within a confined manhole environment
- Following site safety procedures and project requirements
- Working alongside the site team to complete works safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Requirements

- Previous MIG welding experience
- Welding Certificate
- Confined Space Ticket
- Working at Heights Ticket
- White Card
- Construction, civil, structural strengthening or remedial experience highly regarded
- Strong commitment to safety
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
