The Opportunity

The Challenge
A broad and commercially focused CFO role, working closely with the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team. The appointee will lead the finance function while acting as a trusted commercial advisor, supporting strategic decision making, operational performance, growth initiatives and potential M&A; activity.
This role offers a genuine breadth of responsibility across financial leadership, commercial performance, strategy, Board reporting, treasury and corporate development. You will balance hands‑on financial leadership and governance with a strong focus on supporting the business to execute its growth agenda. This will include an immediate post M&A; integration and ensuring the finance function is positioned to support the next phase of growth.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a hands‑on Chief Financial Officer with entrepreneurial zeal who relishes change management, transformation and process improvement. The Chief Financial Officer will play an integral role in supporting the business to deliver on a clear strategic plan
The Expertise
This chance is appropriate for a finance executive with proven experience in a food manufacturing/FMCG or non-food capital intensive manufacturing environment. Furthermore it is likely you will possess:
- CA/CPA qualified, ideally gained at PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG or a leading tier 2 CA firm
- Significant financial leadership experience in fast paced dynamic growth environments
- High achievement drive, your personality is energetic and you enjoy working within dynamic, fast‑paced cultures
- The presence and communication skills to successfully support and report to CEO and board
- Proven capability to develop and lead high performance teams
- Previous experience working in a private equity environment will be advantageous
- You will relish growth environments, consider yourself a change agent and be a resilient and hands on Chief Financial Officer
- Exposure to M&A;, acquisition integration, business transformation or an exit or sale process would be highly regarded
