Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will be involved in the preparation of detailed designs and drawings for steel frame and truss projects. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed drawings and plans for steel frame and truss structures
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, builders and internal stakeholders to ensure project accuracy and delivery outcomes
- Utilise industry specific detailing and drafting software
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements
- Contribute to project documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Applications are welcomed from candidates with varying levels of experience. You may bring:
- Experience in steel detailing, drafting, design or a related technical discipline; or
- Qualifications or studies in engineering, drafting, design, construction or a similar field; or
- Strong technical aptitude with a genuine interest in building a career within the steel and construction industry.
In addition, you will ideally possess:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Confidence working with computer-based design systems
- Experience with CAD, detailing or design software (advantageous but not essential)
- A willingness to learn and contribute within a collaborative team setting
