About the role

This role is ideal for a Property Lawyer (2-4 years PAE) looking to build broad experience across commercial, retail and development property matters within a team-oriented and high-performing team. Working closely with senior lawyers, you will gain hands-on exposure to a diverse range of transactions, including leasing, acquisitions and disposals, development projects and property due diligence. The role offers genuine responsibility, direct client interaction and strong mentoring, with a focus on commercial outcomes, efficiency and exceptional client service.

What you'll be doing

- Working on a broad mix of commercial, retail and development property matters
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, disclosure statements and other key legal documents
- Liaising directly with clients, agents and counterparties to keep transactions moving smoothly
- Assisting with settlements, due diligence and transaction support work




- Supporting senior lawyers on complex property and dispute matters while building your technical skills
- Conducting legal research and providing practical, commercial advice

What we're looking for

- 2-4+ years' PQE in property law, with solid experience across commercial property matters
- A collaborative approach and strong leadership potential
- Ability to work autonomously with partner mentoring and team support
- Strong client service focus and commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in networking, business development and profile building
- Strong organisational and legal practice management skills
- Experience using PEXA, with SPEAR experience advantageous but not essential
