They are a leading supplier and service provider to the industrial, mining, food & beverage, and resources industries across Australia.

About the Role

- Operating manual lathes, milling machines, slotting machines, and shaping machines.
- Manufacturing precision components from steel and other materials such as bronze and nylon.
- Setting up machinery, selecting tooling, and adjusting speeds and feeds.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Measuring and inspecting finished components to ensure compliance with tolerances.
- Using overhead cranes to load and unload materials and components.
- Maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am to 1:00pm.

Overtime available as workload requires.

Essential Requirements





- Recent experience in a heavy industrial machining workplace.
- Proven experience operating manual lathes and milling machines.
- Experience with manual slotting and shaping machines.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical schematics.
- Strong understanding of tooling selection, machine setup, speeds, feeds, and manufacturing techniques.
- Experience manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances.
- Proficient in the use and calibration of precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Current National Police Check or willing to obtain one.
- depending on Cylindrical and bore grinding experience would be highly advantageous.
- CNC machining experience.
