We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to join our team at JB Caravans Newcastle and support the continued growth of our RV service operations.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be the first point of contact for customers requiring repairs, servicing, maintenance, warranty work, and general support for their caravan, motorhome, or campervan.

This hands-on role requires strong communication, excellent organisation, and a genuine customer-first attitude. You will coordinate between customers, technicians, and management to ensure service work is completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers, understand their needs, and document service or repair requirements accurately.

Provide professional advice and support, including urgent situations such as breakdowns or service issues.

Schedule caravan, motorhome, and campervan repairs and services.

Liaise with technicians to obtain estimates, book jobs, and manage workshop capacity.

Coordinate pre-delivery inspections and customer handovers.





Maintain accurate service documentation, warranty records, and customer communication.

Keep customers updated on job progress and clearly explain invoices and completed work.

Identify opportunities to upsell additional products, accessories, and services where appropriate.

Work closely with technicians and the Service Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

Follow manufacturer procedures and comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in an RV, marine, automotive, or service advisor role preferred.

Good understanding of caravan, motorhome, or automotive service systems.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.

Computer literacy and experience using workshop management systems.

Knowledge of warranty processes will be highly regarded.

Qualified presentation and a strong team-focused attitude.
