Skilled Wind Services - Cement Mills QLD

Muehlhan Wind Service are seeking applications for several Installation Technicians to join our team.

These positions will be based at Macintyre Wind Farm, west of Warwick Queensland, and Boulder Creek Wind Farm, near Rockhampton.

The successful applicants will perform the following duties:

- Installation, including mechanical and electrical completion of WTG's
- Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing wind turbines to conform with regulations and safety standards
- Inspecting wind turbine components to ensure equipment is not damaged or faulty
- Inspecting equipment to ensure proper operation and setting operations
- Use of tension and torque hydraulic calibrated tooling
- Preparation of main and minor WTG components
- Completing of required reports on tasks undertaken
- Completing of site specific construction or maintenance works as required by Muehlhan Wind Service of the client




- Complete Quality Assurance (if required)
- Undertake additional supervisory roles (for applicant with appropriate experience)

The successful applicants must have:

- A Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or at least three years of relevant experience in the wind industry
- Current GWO BST Certificate (with a minimum of 6 months validity, or willingness to obtain)
- GWO BTT (an advantage)
- White Card
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, and national police check
- Great people/communication skills and able to work in a team
- Nordex and/or GE Experience (an advantage)
- Valid working rights in Australia

Full time employment working on average 38 hours per week. 3 weeks on, 1 week off rotation.
