Our client is looking for someone to support a busy team working across investment attraction, business growth and grant programs.
Working alongside Investment Attraction Advisors, you will research and progress investment opportunities, maintain the opportunity pipeline and coordinate actions following investor enquiries and stakeholder meetings. You will also prepare briefing notes, presentations, business case information and stakeholder correspondence.
The role will support grants, sponsorships and other business programs, including coordinating applications, checking documentation, monitoring milestones and maintaining accurate records. You will also assist with trade activities, delegations, industry events and investment missions.
You will engage with businesses, investors, industry groups, government agencies and professional service providers,
while supporting research and reporting on market trends, investment activity, jobs and business growth.
This is a hands-on role where you will need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and helping wherever required. The team works closely together, so initiative, flexibility and a genuinely team-oriented approach will be essential.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to build rapport quickly and strong multitasking and prioritisation skills. You will be comfortable managing competing demands, working with multiple stakeholders and keeping information accurate and up to date.
You will be required to work in the office 5 days per week, Bundall location.
Experience in economic development, investment attraction, government or grants administration would be highly regarded but is not essential.
