We are currently offering a fantastic chance for HSEQ Coordinator based in our Yagoona Office. Your ROLE The HSEQ Coordinator will lead the Quality, Safety and Environment assurance effort for Galserv and be responsible for ensuring Safety Systems and legislative compliance is implemented, maintained, continuously improved and promoted with the Galserv team.
Your KEY RESULT AREAS will not be limited to: Safety/Quality/Environment Operational Develop, implement, and maintain Nepean B&I; management systems ensuring ongoing accreditation to 14001,
4801 & 9001 and ensure systems are implemented and adhered to during regular audits.
Lead monthly NB&I; statistical reporting on QA and WHSE with HSEQ team Manage NCR’s and corrective actions and recommend continuous improvement activities for Galserv Ensure implementation and performance management of all sections against quality procedures and, through the completion of quality audits.
Ensuring and organising specific training needs/requirements for all employees for QA and Safety compliance. Conduct and assist in incident investigations and corrective actions as required Ensure site compliance with legal and/or other requirements
Conduct and complete risk assessments Manage H&S; Committee and ensure feedback is given to management and workers Provide H&S; advise to employees regarding Health, Safety, welfare, environmental and quality issues
Return to Work Coordinator duties and claims processing Strive for best practice and influence stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes
Influence and achieve culture change outcomes WHSE To work in a safe manner using appropriate Safe
Work Instructions or Safety Operating Procedures.
To notify Manager or delegate immediately of any hazards in the workplace and to monitor any actions taken to correct hazards to ensure that the hazard is removed from the workplace Take all reasonable care for the health and safety of all people and the environment at work.
GENERAL Work in a collaborative and team manner. Understand Nepean goals and core values.
Follow and implement WH&S; guidelines during work processes. Compliance with all company systems and policies. Accept workload and willingly help others when required

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Graduate Certificate in Quality Assurance preferred. Preferably in the heavy manufacturing or mining industry.
Minimum Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety. Previous experience in heavy manufacturing environment. Safety Investigation qualification.
Lead Auditor qualification in WHS and QMS. Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Hold current motor vehicle license
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + Super
