This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to step into a hands-on senior payroll role within a supportive team environment. You'll bring strong end-to-end payroll processing capability and the confidence to hit the ground running from day one.
The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across a large employee base, ensuring payroll is delivered accurately and on time. This role suits someone who is technically strong, detail-orientedand comfortable working autonomously within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within required timeframes across a large workforce
- Interpret and apply Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and relevant legislation
- Perform payroll reconciliations, month-end reporting, and compliance activities
- Respond to and resolve payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders in a timely manner
- Support payroll audits, process improvement initiatives, and broader payroll team activities
About You
- Proven experience in a Senior Payroll Officer or similar end-to-end payroll role
- Strong working knowledge of Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with a professional and solutions-focused approach
