Are you an educator who believes that relationships come first?
At Tennyson Preschool by Handprints, we believe children learn best when they feel protected, known, valued and connected. We are looking for a warm, passionate, and experienced Educator to join our incredible team at Handprints.
Our Preschool is about more than routines and programs. It is a place for conversations, curiosity, exploration and meaningful relationships. We want someone who understands that the everyday moments are often where the most important learning happens.
About the Role
As a Classroom Educator, you will:
- Build warm, secure relationships with children and families.
- Lead and support a positive, collaborative team of educators.
- Continue implementing calm, nurturing and engaging environments.
- Develop meaningful learning experiences based on children's interests, strengths and development.
- Ensure routines are flexible, respectful and responsive to each child.
- Observe and document children's learning and guide future planning.
- Maintain high standards of supervision, safety and wellbeing.
- Work alongside our School Director, Educational Leader, and team of teachers and educators to continually strengthen practice.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Hold an approved Early Childhood qualification.
- Have experience working toddler and preschool aged children.
- Are warm, nurturing, reliable and genuinely love working with young children.
- Enjoy leading, mentoring and working collaboratively with others.
- Have a current Working with Children Check and relevant First Aid qualifications.
- Are committed to child safety, professional learning and reflective practice.
- Can work set rotating shifts between 7.30am–5.00pm.
Why Handprints?
At Handprints, our philosophy is built around connections and relationships, a love of learning, growth, experiences and wonderings.
Many of our team hold long-term positions as we value educators as individuals. We want them to bring their own strengths, ideas and creativity to their work. Most importantly, we want educators who take the time to truly know the children in their care.
If you are looking for a new role where relationships matter and you can make a genuine difference in children's earliest years, we would love to meet you.
