About the Role
As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a loader to support our waste management operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a loader safely and efficiently
- Loading, moving and stockpiling waste and recyclable materials
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
- Following site safety, environmental and operational procedures
- Working cooperatively with drivers, machine operators and site staff
- Reporting equipment faults, hazards and incidents promptly
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous loader or heavy machinery operating experience - 1-2 years
- Holds the relevant plant/machinery tickets or licences
- Has a robust commitment to workplace health and safety
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Has good communication and teamwork skills
- Waste management, recycling or civil construction experience is an advantage
