MR OR HR Truck Driver - Local Tamworth Gas Supplier

Our client, Australia's largest supplier of Liquid Petroleum Gas for residential, industrial and commercial customers is seeking an MR Truck Driver to run out of a site located in Tamworth NSW. This is a hands-on, active role involving multi-drop LPG cylinder deliveries, manual handling, and daily customer interactions. If you are self motivated, enjoy being on the go and take pride in delivering great service, this is an ideal opportunity.

These roles have a track to permanency with the Client for the right candidates. Applicants seeking an opportunity for eventual full-time employment are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous driving experience is a must.

The Roles:

- MR or above License - Driving Flat bed medium rigid truck.
- Complete multi-drop LPG cylinder deliveries around Tamworth and surrounds on a daily basis.
- Safely handle, load, and unload gas cylinders
- Follow all safety procedures and delivery guidelines
- Maintain delivery schedules, paperwork, and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service with every delivery
- Assist with general site and operational tasks as required
- 6am start with a minimum 8hr days / 40 hr week with up to 12hr days and overtime penalties. More overtime in Winter months.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck, including checking, oils, coolant, tire pressure, and general cleanliness
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.




- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of usage.

Requirements:

- MR or above License
- Minimum 3 years of MR or above experience
- Ability to complete manual handling tasks
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- PPE: Hi-Vis Clothing, Steel Cap Boots, Hard Hat will be provided
- Good Driving Record - needs to be supplied from Services NSW or similar
- Local Tamworth and immediate surrounds
- Strong Communication skills and customer service.
