Pay Rate: $27.72 per hour + superannuation (in line with the Storage Services and Wholesale Award - MA000084)

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Pick Packer to help us bring these special deliveries to life! This role is fast-paced, physical, and hands-on, requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

Packing and preparing book subscription boxes with accuracy and care.

Handling fragile items and book boxes securely.

Assisting in stock management, including receiving and organising book and goodie deliveries.

Printing shipping labels, sorting orders, and coordinating with couriers to ensure timely dispatch.

Ensuring all orders meet shipping deadlines and are packed to a high standard.

Lifting and moving boxes (up to 25kg safely, following proper handling techniques).

Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised.

Using basic computer programs (Word, Outlook, Airtable, Slack) for order processing and communication.

Assisting in processing returns, exchanges, and resolving order discrepancies.

Monitoring warehouse supplies (boxes, tape, labels) and restocking when needed.

Following all Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies, including proper manual handling, hazard reporting, and adherence to warehouse safety guidelines.

Occasionally appearing in social media content (e.g., packing videos,



warehouse updates).

Providing feedback on ways to improve daily operations and efficiency.

Being comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks like packing and sorting.

Being flexible and available during peak periods (e.g., Christmas, major sales) when extra shifts may be required.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience required.

Full Australian working rights (citizenship, PR, or valid work visa).

Ability to lift and carry boxes (up to 25kg) safely.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Good communication skills and teamwork.

Candidates must possess data entry skills for order processing using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Airtable.

A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing business.

Passion for books and the book industry is a plus!

Must be comfortable appearing in social media content (e.g., packing ASMR, warehouse updates).

This role may require weekend or seasonal overtime (e.g., Christmas, major sales events).

Salary is based on industry award rates + superannuation.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) compliance is essential - proper lifting techniques and protected equipment use are required.
