Site Engineer – $100M Aged Care Development

Brisbane | Major $100M Project | Up to $130K Package

An established national contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to join the project team delivering a major $100M aged care development in Brisbane.

This role will have a particular focus on quality management, project documentation, registers and reporting, making it an excellent prospect for either an early-career Engineer or an experienced Project/Site Administrator looking to take the next step.

You'll join a well-resourced project team within a business known for its exceptional culture, strong staff retention and genuine commitment to developing people internally.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider delivery team, you'll play an important role in ensuring the project's quality systems, documentation and reporting are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities will include:

- Managing and maintaining project QA documentation and registers
- Preparing, coordinating and closing out ITPs and inspection records
- Maintaining quality, defects and compliance registers
- Assisting with document control and project reporting
- Tracking subcontractor documentation and outstanding actions
- Coordinating inspections and ensuring records are accurately maintained
- Assisting with RFIs, technical queries and drawing registers
- Reviewing subcontractor documentation for completeness and compliance
- Supporting the site team with quality assurance and project administration
- Monitoring actions and following up consultants and subcontractors
- Assisting with progress reporting and project records
- Supporting the broader construction team as your experience develops

About You

There are two potential backgrounds that could work particularly well for this position.

You may be a Project or Site Administrator with a construction background who has developed strong knowledge of QA, documentation,



registers and reporting and is looking for an prospect to broaden your responsibilities.

Alternatively, you could be an early-career Site/Project Engineer with approximately 2-3 years' experience, ideally supported by a degree in:

- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Construction Management

More important than the exact title on your CV will be your attention to detail, organisation and willingness to take ownership.

You'll ideally demonstrate:

- 2-3 years' experience within the Australian construction industry
- Strong administration and documentation skills
- Exposure to QA systems, ITPs and construction registers
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working with subcontractors, consultants and site teams
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good systems and computer literacy
- A proactive attitude and genuine desire to develop your construction career
