About the role

We are seeking a Property Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team on a full-time basis at our Ashmore office in Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and utilise your property law expertise in a collaborative and professional environment. As a Property Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive legal advice and services to our clients across a range of property-related matters. This position offers the chance to work on diverse and interesting cases whilst building your professional reputation within the property law sector.

Key responsibilities

Advising clients on residential and commercial property transactions, including purchases, sales, and leasing arrangements

Conducting property due diligence, searches, and title investigations

Drafting and reviewing property-related legal documents, agreements, and contracts

Managing property conveyancing matters from initial instructions through to settlement

Providing guidance on property disputes, including boundary matters and easements





Ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation and regulations

Liaising with real estate agents, financial institutions, and other stakeholders

Maintaining accurate file management and client communication records

Supporting clients with property-related tax and financial planning considerations where appropriate

What we're looking for

Admitted as a legal practitioner with a current practising certificate

Proven experience in property law practice

Robust knowledge of property conveyancing, real estate transactions, and property legislation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities

Proficiency in legal research and legal practice management software

Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Professional judgment and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Experience in residential and commercial conveyancing is highly desirable

Strong client service orientation and commitment to delivering practical legal solutions
