Transactions Analyst — Capital Transactions | Sydney

Join a high-performing Capital Transactions team at a leading Australian real estate investment manager, specialising in the acquisition, development, and active management of high-quality assets across the country. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in sourcing, analysing and executing deals in a fast-growing platform with strong investment appetite and a leader-led culture.

The Opportunity

As a Transactions Analyst, you will support the end-to-end transaction lifecycle - from identifying new opportunities and undertaking financial analysis, through due diligence and execution, to supporting ongoing investment management. You’ll gain exposure to every part of the deal process while collaborating with industry-leading professionals and growing your career in capital transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate investment opportunities nationwide — direct, portfolio and indirect acquisitions
- Undertake financial and commercial analysis, cashflows, and investment underwriting
- Assist with due diligence - financial, physical and legal
- Support transaction structuring, financing, negotiation and execution
- Monitor performance of existing funds and assets - forecasting, reporting and analysis
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for key internal and external stakeholders
- Build market intelligence through broker and industry relationships
- Analyse asset strategy - leasing proposals, capex plans, outgoings,



and exit opportunities
- Design and maintain quantitative models to track fund and asset performance
- Participate in investment committee meetings, client discussions and project coordination

About You

- 3+ years’ commercial property experience with strong business acumen
- Valuations background highly desirable
- Degree-qualified in Property, Finance, Economics or Business; further study advantageous
- Strong financial modelling skills (DCF, debt & equity analysis), advanced Excel
- Experience using Estate Master or Forbury beneficial
- Sound understanding of development processes, feasibility and delivery drivers
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable operating at pace within a high-growth environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management - credible, team-oriented, and influential
- Strong attention to detail and analytical rigour - data-led thinker
- Tech-curious mindset with appetite to innovate and continuously learn
