We are seeking a reliable, fit and hardworking Trade Assistant join our construction team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a minimum of 2 years’ construction experience who is comfortable working outdoors, assisting trades and completing a variety of general site duties.

The successful candidate will be an important part of the site team, helping to keep projects running efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general labouring duties across construction sites across Sydney's Southwest.

- Assist trades and site personnel as required.

- Load, unload and move building materials, tools and equipment.

- Undertake manual handling and physical tasks throughout the day.

- Maintain clean, tidy and organised work areas.

- Assist with site set-up, pack-up and general site preparation.

- Handle materials and equipment safely and appropriately.

- Assist with deliveries and moving materials around site.

- Follow all site safety, WHS and environmental requirements.





- Assist with traffic management and vehicle movements when required.

- Carry out other general construction duties as directed.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, dependable team player who takes pride in their work and is willing to get stuck in. You don't need to be a qualified tradesperson, but you should have solid construction experience, a valuable work ethic and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy site environment.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' construction industry experience.

- Current White Card.

- Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling and physical work.

- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.

- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety.

- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around other trades and equipment.

- Current driver's licence preferred.

Desirable

- Traffic Control experience or relevant Traffic Control qualifications.
