At Mueller Automotive, we're doing things differently.
We're looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our busy workshop in Woree.
We know skilled mechanics are in demand. We also know that money isn't everything — your time matters too.
That's why our team works:
MONDAY – THURSDAY | 7:00AM – 5:00PM
Friday? OFF.
Saturday? OFF.
Sunday? OFF.
That's 52 three-day weekends every year to enjoy your family, fishing, camping, 4WDing, travelling or simply enjoying the Cairns and FNQ lifestyle.

WHO WE WANT
We're not simply looking for someone to fill a position.

You will ideally be:
- Qualified as a Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician
- Confident with servicing, repairs and diagnostics
- Reliable and organised
- Able to work independently
- A good team player
- Someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship
- Looking for stability and a long-term opportunity
- 3RD OR 4TH YEAR APPRENTICE?
We want to hear from you too.
If you're already well into your apprenticeship, have good hands-on experience and want the right workshop to finish your trade, we're happy to consider a strong 3rd or 4th year apprentice.
