Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Design and optimise PostgreSQL/SQL Server databases.
- Build event-driven applications using Kafka and/or IBM MQ.
- Develop unit, integration and contract tests.
- Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable backend solutions.
Must-Have Skills
- Microservices – 2+ years
- REST API Development
- Kafka and/or IBM MQ
- JUnit 5, Mockito
- CI/CD
- Git, Bitbucket & Artifactory
Desirable: Python, AWS/Azure, SWIFT Messaging, Trade Finance/Banking, Temporal/Camunda, Drools, Testcontainers and Pact/Spring Cloud Contract.
