About the Role
We are looking for an experiencedImport and Export Operatorto join ourgrowing Sydney team. This role is hands-on and suited to someone who enjoys end-to-end freight operations, strong customer relationships and being part of a supportive, rapid-paced environment.
Australian citizens and permanent residents only are eligible to apply for this position.
You will manage import and export shipments across air and sea, working closely with customers, overseas agents,carriersand internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant movements.
Key responsibilities
End-to-end management of import and export air and sea freight shipments
Coordinating bookings with shipping lines,airlinesand overseas agents
Preparing and checking shipping documentation, including bills of lading, FTA, manifest and customs paperwork
Liaising with customs brokers, transportprovidersand warehouses
Providing clear and proactive updates to customers
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Supporting the wider operations team asrequired
About you
Previousexperience in an import and export freightforwardingrole
Experience in sea & air operations; cartage an advantage
Strong knowledge of air and sea freight processes
Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments at once
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Cargowiseexperience preferred but not essential
