About the Role

n

This newly created role sits within the ABC's Communications team, supporting internal communications across the organisation with a particular focus on the ABC's enabling divisions.

n

Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you'll help create and deliver clear, engaging communications that keep employees informed and connected to ABC priorities.

n

Your work will span staff announcements, newsletters, intranet articles and leadership messages, as well as maintaining content across the intranet, SharePoint, email and other digital channels.

n

You'll also support major ABC internal initiatives, events and campaigns, coordinate internal communications across teams and provide day‐to‐day support to the Internal Communications Manager.

n

It's a varied, hands‐on role offering great exposure across the ABC and the opportunity to contribute to communications that reach employees across the organisation.

About You

n

You're an articulate and engaging communicator with excellent writing skills, solid digital capability and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the organisation.

n

You're organised, systems savvy and quick to learn new tools and platforms. Just as importantly, you're a self‐starter who takes initiative and someone who sees what needs to be done,



gets things moving and is keen to make a difference.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- Strong digital and systems skills, including experience with content management systems and internal communications platforms.
n
- Strong organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
n
- Experience creating content and supporting communications campaigns or projects.
n
- A relevant degree in communications, media, journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience.
n
- A genuine interest in the ABC and passion for public broadcasting, news, screen, audio and digital media.
n
- Experience working in a large or complex organisation will be highly regarded.
n
