Spoon Patisserie is seeking an experienced Warehousing Supervisor to join our logistics and distribution team. This is a full-time position based in the Brisbane CBD and Inner Suburbs area. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient storage, organisation, and distribution of our premium patisserie products. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory control, and maintaining health and safety standards. This position is critical to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver quality products to our customers on time.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of patisserie products, ensuring accurate inventory management and stock rotation procedures are followed
- Monitor warehouse operations to ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations specific to perishable goods
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
- Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise efficiency and minimise product damage
- Coordinate with logistics, sales, and production teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery
- Maintain detailed records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, staff performance, and safety incidents
- Implement and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation standards to ensure a safe working setting
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within warehouse operations
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints related to order accuracy and product condition

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a warehousing or distribution supervisory role, preferably within food or FMCG sectors




- Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse teams and achieving operational targets
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS experience preferred)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly those applicable to food storage and handling
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping
- Proficient communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
- Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and moving goods as required
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is highly desirable
- Problem-solving ability and flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands
- Valid driver's licence is advantageous
