Are you an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in delivering safe, high-quality construction projects? This is an excellent 6-month opportunity to lead and coordinate complex projects from planning through to completion, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.

About the role

- Oversee construction projects from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and completion
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, internal teams and key stakeholders to support effective project outcomes
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks and reporting requirements
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant quality, compliance and regulatory standards
- Monitor progress, resolve construction-related issues and drive practical solutions to keep projects on track
- Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Promote a solid safety, quality and continuous improvement culture across all project activities

Based in Cannon Hill, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of construction delivery, work with a broad range of stakeholders and contribute to safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes. You will play a key role in coordinating teams, managing risk and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.

About you

- Relevant degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or a related discipline
- Current Queensland Construction White Card and valid Queensland driver’s licence




- Demonstrated experience managing construction projects, including planning, execution and delivery
- Strong understanding of Queensland building codes, standards, regulations and WHS requirements.
- Proven ability to manage contracts, budgets, schedules, resources and competing project priorities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
- Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore or Aconex will be highly regarded
- Experience leading teams, mentoring staff and managing client relationships in a construction environment
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices, environmental compliance, BIM or digital construction technologies will be advantageous
