ConsultANZ is looking for a Rig Operator to join a well-established civil and geotechnical contractor working on foundations, shoring, and basement projects in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience on real construction sites, including complex piling and ground improvement works such as CFA, bored, and driven piling for a structural and civil developments.

Main Duties

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Operating piling rigs (Bauer, Liebherr, or Soilmec).
- Leading and supervising the rig crew on site.
- Making sure work is completed safely and meets project specifications.
- Carrying out daily pre-starts and basic site reporting.
- Checking and maintaining equipment.
- Following all OH&S; and site safety requirements.

Requirements

To be successful, you should have:





- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Rig Operator on civil or piling projects.
- Proven experience operating piling rigs such as Bauer, Liebherr, or Soilmec.
- Strong experience with CFA, bored, or driven piling.
- Valid Australian tickets and licences.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
