Childcare Educator ECT and Educational Leader
To apply, successful candidates MUST have:
Completed an Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) degree
Be able to work full-time (no part time will be considered)
Hold a current, valid visa with rights to work in Australia full time (no sponsorship will be considered)
Experience in program planning, kids observation, and creating interest-based experiences
Be able to design and implement a preschool readiness program.
Experience as an Educational Leader
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
A passion for providing high-quality care
The required documents to be a Responsible Person
Current National Police Clearance
As our newest team member, you will have a minimum of 2 year of experience employed as an Early Childhood Teacher or similar. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to think outside of the square.
Any candidates that do not meet the above criteria will not be considered.
About us
Little Endeavours Early Learning Centre is a modern, new educational facility for children aged 0-6 years. Our main focus is to provide an interactive and inviting space to allow children's minds to grow and develop.
Our small, family-run centre is based in the heart of Sans Souci, directly opposite Sans Souci Public School. We pride ourselves on our service and ability to build strong relationships with children and their families.
About the role
Little Endeavours Early Learning Centre are looking to grow our network of enthusiastic, supportive and genuine educators.
We currently have a full-time opportunity for a passionate, experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) and Educational Leader
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
Have a robust understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
An unwavering passionfor children,their learning and care
Designing and organising educational activities across indoor and outdoor settings, incorporating diverse resources and learning materials to support children’s developmental outcomes.
Delivering a broad range of engaging learning experiences aimed at enhancing physical coordination, social interaction, self-confidence, and cognitive growth.
Encouraging communication and language development through strategies such as guided discussions, imaginative play, music, storytelling, and group-based interactions.
Monitoring and assessing children’s development and wellbeing, including recognising potential health, behavioural, or emotional concerns requiring attention.
Ensuring children’s health, safety, and welfare are maintained by overseeing nutritional needs and identifying any factors that may affect learning or participation.
Maintain a clean, healthy and educational environment for children to play and learn in
Liaising with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress, development, and any relevant educational or wellbeing matters.
Participating in scheduled meetings, including parent consultations and team discussions, to contribute to educational planning and centre operations.
Contributing to family engagement initiatives and broader community-related activities where relevant to the role.
Providing guidance and oversight to student educators or trainees undertaking practical placements within the service.
Strong leadership skills and effective communication skills
2+ years experience as an ECT
Be adaptable and enthusiastic
The Centre operates between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, including school holidays.
