Social Worker (Lvl 1-2) - Youth Health Service - Perm FT

A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Describe your experience providing psychosocial assessment and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to adolescents and/or young adults with complex mental health and psychosocial needs. Please include the therapeutic approaches you have used and the outcomes achieved.
This role works with young people who may have experienced trauma, family conflict, school disengagement, homelessness or other vulnerabilities. Describe how you apply trauma-informed, youth-centred and culturally safe principles in your clinical practice. Please provide a recent example.
Provide an example of a time you worked collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with external agencies (such as schools, health services or community organisations) to support a young person with complex needs. What was your role and what was the outcome?
This position requires excellent clinical judgement, risk assessment and case management skills. Describe a situation where you assessed and managed clinical risk for a young person. How did you prioritise care, communicate with stakeholders and ensure the young person's safety?
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
