What This Role Involves | What You Get to Do

As the Team Leader – Team Leader Specialised Family Violence, you will lead a team delivering high-quality, client-centred services across our Supporting Adolescent Boys, Men’s Behaviour Change & parenting order programs.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will play a key role in driving service excellence, supporting staff, and ensuring programs meet their objectives across the New England and North West region.

You will balance leadership, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement while maintaining a small client caseload.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and support a team to deliver high-quality, client-centred services
- Provide regular supervision, coaching, and performance management
- Monitor program delivery, performance, and outcomes against funding requirements and KPIs
- Maintain a small client caseload in line with program expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community partners
- Ensure compliance with legislation, funding requirements, and organisational policies
- Oversee accurate case documentation, reporting, and data collection
- Identify, manage,



and escalation risks and incidents appropriately
- Contribute to continuous improvement, program evaluation, and quality initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of community services frameworks, legislation, and best practice
- Experience in family law, counselling, or behaviour change programs (desirable)
- National Criminal History Check
- Working With Children Check
- National Disability Worker Screening Check (if applicable)
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to travel, bi-weekly travel to Moree, Inverell or Armidale
