Independent Air Flow Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join our Sydney team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role servicing and testing specialised airflow equipment and controlled environments across Sydney. Previous experience as a technician is preferred, but industry-specific experience is not essential.

We provide full on-the-job training, so you do not need to have previous experience in our specific industry. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, mechanical aptitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Perform servicing, inspections, testing and repairs of air flow equipment at client sites.
- Learn to use specialised testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with identifying faults.
- Follow all safety procedures and industry standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding work completed.




- Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
- Travel to client sites throughout Sydney and surrounding areas.
- Maintain the company vehicle, tools and equipment in an organised condition.
- Work independently once trained, while being supported by our experienced technicians.
- Work as part of a team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in a technical, trade or hands-on role desirable but not essential.
- Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- A current Australian driver's licence.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.

No specific air flow, HVAC or cleanroom experience is required. Training is provided on the job by our experienced technicians.
