Leasing Consultant: Leasing Consultants are responsible for completing the day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of the property while maintaining positive resident relations.

n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

n

- Leasingn n
- Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or the property website
n
- Greet potential residents, parents and visitors in a skilled manner
n
- Pursue leads by completing daily follow ups in leasing database
n
- Place delinquency phone calls
n
- Complete guest cards and send thank-you notes
n

n
- Marketingn

n
- Attend and participate in resident events and event clean up
n
- Create working relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, local businesses, cultural centers to help drive prospects to property
n
- Execute and promote resident events
n
- Set up on campus and hand out promotional items
n
- Community Marketing- meet with local businesses, flyer put out, etc
n




- Tour competitors on frequent basis to gather information on leasing strategies (i.e. specials, occupancy, prelease percentages, and property upkeep)
n

- Greet existing and potential residents
n
- Address and resolve questions/concerns in a timely manner
n
- Reporting and Administrativen

n
- Generate mailings
n
- Collect checks and monies owed
n
- File leases
n

n

n

Skills/Experience:

n

n
- Minimum: (1) year customer service and/or sales experience;Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve escalated customer concerns;Understanding of Fair Housing
n
- Preferred: Property Management leasing experience
n

n

Education:

n

Minimum: High school diploma, some college

n

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

n
