We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Practice Nurse to join our team and work from all our Key Health clinics.
In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical care within a supportive general practice environment, working closely with doctors and the wider team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
Practice Nurse | Key Health
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clinical care in line with professional and safety standards
- Conducting immunisations, wound care, health assessments, and triage
- Supporting chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives
- Assisting doctors with procedures and clinical tasks
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Ensuring infection control procedures and policies are followed
- Managing clinical equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms
- Supporting quality improvement activities and practice accreditation
- Educating patients on health management, treatments, and preventative care
- Supporting and guiding other staff as required
About You
You are a proactive and organised nurse who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and maintaining high safety standards.
Essential
- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse)
- Current CPR certification
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
- Experience in general practice or primary healthcare
- Experience in chronic disease management and health assessments
- Familiarity with Best Practice software
