Area Safe Products division, Astra Street Furniture, assembles outdoor furniture products such as seats, benches, bins, bollards etc. You will work alongside other assemblers performing cutting duties.
5 days per week (7.30am start, 38hr week, overtime available when required – workload driven)
Based from warehouse in Minchinbury, Western Sydney
Using drop saws to cut timber, recycled composite, and aluminium (slats & planks) to required lengths.
Preparing materials for assembly team.
Other related duties that may be required include:
Predrilling of timber & aluminium slats
Assembly of timber & aluminium benches, tables & seats, screwing on slats etc
Other general assembly, manufacturing or warehouse duties as required
About you!
Prior experience in furniture assembly or similar items is an advantage
Must have experience with power tools especially drop saws
Forklift license is an advantage
