About the Opportunity
We're partnering with one of Australia's leading residential solar businesses to recruit two Solar Sales Consultants into their growing Brisbane team.
This is not your typical solar sales role built around chasing low-quality online leads.
The business has established partnerships across the residential construction industry and installs solar systems on thousands of newly built Australian homes.
Once homeowners move in, their energy requirements often change. That's where you come in.
You'll reconnect with existing customers, understand how they're actually using energy in their new home and identify opportunities to upgrade their system through additional solar, battery storage and EV charging.
What You'll Be Doing
- Speak with existing homeowners about their energy usage and requirements.
- Identify opportunities for solar, battery and EV charger upgrades.
- Educate customers and recommend solutions based on their individual needs.
- Manage opportunities from initial conversation through to close.
- Proactively follow up and prospect within an established customer base.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in sales, ideally phone-based or consultative.
- Confidence discussing price, value and return on investment with customers.
- Strong objection-handling and closing skills.
- A proactive approach with the resilience to create your own opportunities.
- Solar experience is advantageous, but strong salespeople from other industries are encouraged to apply.

About You
You don't need to be an electrician or engineer.
We're looking for someone who can build trust, ask good questions and sell on value.
You may already work in solar, or you could come from insurance, finance oran energy comparison business.
If you're comfortable speaking with customers, working towards targets and closing deals, the technical side can be taught.
