The Cosmetic Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Lugarno, new clinic, due to open October 2026, providing non-surgical cosmetic treatments and client care. Day-to-day tasks include conducting consultations, assessing client needs, explaining treatment options, and delivering evidence-based cosmetic procedures in line with clinical guidelines. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, monitoring client outcomes, and ensuring high standards of infection control, safety, and hygiene. The Cosmetic Nurse will collaborate with other team members, support client follow-up and aftercare, and contribute to education on treatment plans and realistic results. The position also includes staying updated on relevant cosmetic techniques, products, and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct consultations and assess client needs
- Explain treatment options and deliver evidence-based cosmetic procedures in line with clinical guidelines
- Maintain accurate clinical records and monitor client outcomes
- Ensure high standards of infection control, safety, and hygiene
- Collaborate with other team members
- Support client follow-up and aftercare
- Contribute to education on treatment plans and realistic results
- Stay updated on relevant cosmetic techniques, products, and regulatory requirements
About you
- Current nursing registration (RN or EN) with the relevant Australian regulatory body and eligibility to practice in New South Wales
- Experience in cosmetic nursing and related clinical fields (e.g.,
dermatology, aesthetic medicine) and competence in performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures, MINIMUM 1YR EXPERIENCE
- Solid client assessment and consultation skills, including the ability to explain treatment options, risks, and aftercare in clear, inclusive language
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control, clinical safety, and adherence to professional and ethical standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on respectful client interactions
- Ability to manage appointments efficiently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ongoing interest in professional development, including training in new cosmetic techniques, technologies, and products
- Basic computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records or appointment management systems
- Experience in advanced beauty treatments, including skin needling w/ Dermapen and Ellyse
